This was brutal to watch, not that there was a lot of brutal scenes it was brutal to me to sit through. Anyone remember sitting through high school plays? You know how everyone overacted, sometimes missed the timing of lines, and you could tell they were trying to hit their marks. Well that is all in this movie. Then there are the accents, Irish, English, and more. Some are alright, some come in & out, and some are just really bad.

Now the story. Not that good, in fact it is really weak. They attempt to throw in some really dramatic plot points but what is not ruined by the over acting is quickly pushed aside & forgotten about so they can rush through the rest of the story. In fact this movie is so bad I am just going to go ahead and give you the ending to prove my point. If you don’t want to know do not read the next paragraph.

While captive Elizabeth is raped by Dracula (they do not show it) and becomes pregnant. When the rescue is made she tells both her Dad & Bram what has happened to her, of course they are both mad & try to kill Dracula. Once everything is over and done with her father tells them both that they are to be wed once they all get back home, freeze scene with all of them smiling. I mean really who cares that she has Dracula’s child in her belly they get to be married and that is all that really matters. Even if you are a diehard vampire fan do not waste your time on this, it will only end up pissing you off.
