I already reviewed Wait For Me once and found it to be rather mediocre. So now, a few months later, the Deluxe Edition is released that includes two more dics, one of which is a DVD with live performances and other little goodies. Does this make the album any better though? Sadly, it doesn't. The first disc is the same album of the original version with two bonus tracks. They are decent but nothing amazing. The second disc is filled with ambient versions of many of the tracks found on the first disc. They are much more low key than their Moby counterparts, something I didn't think was quite possible. The third and final disc contrains live performances, music videos, an electronic press kit (epk), animated Q&A, and blips. It's by far the most interesting thing included in the deluxe edition. The Deluxe Edition is a small step above the normal album but it still lacks any real substance. The DVD is the best out of the three discs as it provides the most entertainment. Still, I'd only recommend this album for die-hard Moby fans. Others won't find the same enjoyment and will probably find it more boring than most other albums of the same genre. |
