Miss Sullivan organizes the information fairly well. She tends to get
ahead of herself at times (especially when she starts talking about
where to find a rich man) but the information is clear and easy enough
to find. She begins with fixing yourself up then moves on to where to
catch your prey. Then she explains what to do with them once you’ve
caught them. She really doesn’t go into a lot of details for each of
the items. Most of her knowledge is based on what to do when living in
a big city. But she doles out a little here and there that could be
useful (e.g., Top Ten Products for Under Ten Bucks).
Overall this is a sugared version of how to be a gold digger or catch
your sugar daddy. All of the little fluff advise she gives (i.e.,
buying designer cloths on sale, mixing drug store makeup with
expensive department store brands, and buying a Nintendo) is either
going to be completely transparent to the man or is going to fade
after the first few months of dating. Dressing up and playing games
just doesn’t stand the test of time. And you can put all the lipstick
in the world on a pig but it will still be a pig. Culture is not found
in a Lancome bottle. If you really want to some advise on dating (rich
man other otherwise) buy a Dr, Phil book or better yet go out and just
start talking to people.
This is a buy if you just fell off the turnip truck in the middle of
New York City and you need to find you a rich man.
