RATING: 0.81 (out of 4.00)

The only place they can find to stay is a creepy Bed & Breakfast where some weird things are going on. When the two people that run the B&B are found dead in the morning the friends find themselves accused of the crime; but they are quickly cleared when the whole town starts turning into zombies.

First for true zombie fans out there let me tell you a few things to expect from the “zombies”. They can carry on conversations, they can run, they don’t really stumble anywhere, they have intelligent thoughts, there is a dance sequence with them, and they don’t eat the people they kill. So now that most zombie fans have decided not to watch this film this is why others shouldn’t. Don’t buy into the hype or the fact that this was compared to Shaun of the Dead; they are not even close to being comparable. Shaun of the Dead had wit, Dead & Breakfast has bad one liners. I mean the whole movie is sort of narrated a la “There’s Something About Mary” by the band formed of gas station attendants (even after they become “zombies”). There is no suspense, no thrills, and no horror. Also the slapstick slipping on blood type thing throughout this movie is just annoying. Now this movie may be ok or slightly amusing to those that watch horror flicks here and there and are looking for an easy going Halloween movie; but hard core fans of this genre are just going to be offended.
