Sometimes it is easier to watch a terrible movie than to watch one with a little bit of promise, and 6 Degrees of Hell squanders all of the promise it has.

The first thing you will probably notice about the movie is that Corey Feldman's name is above the title. This is, quite possibly, one of the worst things about it. The character he plays interacts with only one other character, all of his scenes are flat, and he completely ruins the final scene of the film with his bad acting. Don't get me wrong. I was as much of a fan of the Coreys back in the day as anyone, and I've loved his work in other films, but here he isn't even trying hard enough to call it phoning it in.

Throughout the film, you'll see a lot of excellent makeup. Many of the demons, monsters and killers look quite good. And they look even better next to the awful special effects. Or the noticable lack of special effects. Things happen under sheets and just off camera, and with a seasoned talented director these moments could have really ratcheted up the suspence and horror, but instead here it just looks like the director was trying to avoid having to have effects.

Anyway, the movie is about a group of people whose lives are connected through supernatural events, all of which culminates in a haunted hause built inside a supposedly haunted building. From the movie, you can see the structure of the story they were building from, and it appears to be possibly interesting, but then the movie goes and confuses it. Half the time I'm not sure I knew what was going on. And it didn't help that a couple of the actors look and sound alike, and so I actually had a few moments where I wasn't 100% sure which character was in the scene.

Ultimately, 6 Degrees of Hell is barely watchable, so you are probably better off skipping it.
