I’ll get straight to the point: this is a funny DVD. Gabriel Iglesias is one funny fat, er, fluffy dude and this stand-up performance in El Paso, Texas is proof positive. He spends the hour-plus routine regaling the audience with stories of his family, experiences as a bigger dude and the similarities between white rednecks and Latino rednecks.

One of Iglesias’ biggest talents is his ability to make fantastic sound effects. He is a master of mechanical sounds in particular, which works out well for his car-related jokes. In a similar vein, his vocal impressions are also solid, whether he’s imitating one of those aforementioned rednecks or Bill Clinton. It’s funny stuff.

I don’t want to give away any of his jokes because, well, that’s the reason why you’d buy this puppy, so I’ll leave it at this: I was in stitches and literally “LOLing” throughout the performance. With some fun extra features as a bonus, this is a solid release from our fluffy friend.
