Title: Ghost Attack on Sutton Street Genre: Documentary Starring: Matthew Davis, Pete Cox, Michelle Grant, Michelle Hare, Lee Roberts Director: O.H. Krill Studio: Reality Entertainment Runtime: 80 minutes Release Date: July 10, 2012 Format: DVD Discs: 1 MPAA Rating: Rating: ( )Grade: F Ghost Attack on Sutton Street is the biggest waste of time I've seen in quite a while. UK Paranormal Expert Lee Roberts takes a team of people into the notoriously haunted Old Street Market of Sutton Town in England. Within minutes they experience noises and thermal changes, and they are contacted by four spirits. A table moves slightly, and a glass is used like an ouija board to communicate with the ghosts. It tells them not to split up, so they split up to investigate. What follows is a collection of footage of people talking very calmly, droning the audience to sleep, punctuated by moments of tapping or other small sounds, and thermal images of hand prints on walls. A glass breaks, matchbox cars move and eventually a door slams, at which point the investigators flee. After watching this film I simply don't know what it was trying to do. Is this real? Is this one of those hoax movies? Is it a horror movie that simply fails to be at all scary? The one thing I am certain of is that watching Ghost Attack on Sutton Street was a complete waste of an hour and a half of my time. Don't make the same mistake. |
