The French Connection is a brilliant movie, a precursor to action movies like The Bourne Identity and Gone in 60 Seconds.  Unfortunately, despite it's 5 Oscars, it is not often given it's due credit.

QUALITY:
Good.  The picture is fairly decent through but does have a few film spots here and there.

BONUS FEATURES:
Deleted scenes, commentary, featurettes, documentary, introduction, trivia.

Being two-discs, the bonus features are heavy and actually pretty informative and entertaining.  The quality of the movie is a little on the disappointing side but still stands head and shoulders above the DVD release.  A classic movie that is certainly worth a first look or a hundredth.
