Skilled with a gun

All of the actors on the set in the gunfight scenes were instructed in the art of the quick draw by a stunt coordinator. Due to his limited screen time, Gene Hackman had the most opportunity to prepare his quick draw and as a result was the fastest actor on the set.

Sharron Stone, Gene Hackman, Russell Crowe, Lenardo DeCaprio; The Quick and the Dead has quite a cast. Focusing on the prime aspect of the wild west, duels, the film shows what happens in the little town of Redemption during a gunfighting contest.

QUALITY:
Surprising good for a film dating back to 1995. I was surprised to see that it was better than many current films on Blu-ray.

It's disappointing that there are no special features in relation to the film. Instead, you can connect to the internet and get an IMDB style database of the film with movieIQ. Still, the quality of the film is great so it's definitely worth looking into.
