The packaging is beautiful and will work well on a book shelf or out on display. Upon opening the case you will be impressed with what is included.
Of course you have all the issues from 1953 to 1959 (and we are not talking about highlights here it is all pages including the cover and the ads) to view on your computer and you can even search for something you would like to view. While this is impressive, with the title of this release you would expect this.
Also inside is a reproduction of the very first issue of Playboy with Marilyn Monroe on the cover. There are even colored pages included. But what caught my eye and is perfect to keep on your coffee table (if you live in a house that would allow you to display it) or just pulling out sometimes to read is the “50’s Under The Covers” book. Filled with the story of how Playboy came to be, the first sketches of the bunny, old photos of Hugh, behind the scene photos, letters, and so much more. “Playboy Cover To Cover The 50’s” makes a wonderful gift for someone or even yourself.
