This movie is filmed documentary style and talks to many “experts” on the existence of Santa Claus. You get to see a piece of sleigh found in the desert, footage of Santa shot by a child, and a group going to the artic. That about sums it up as it is only 35 minutes long. Now I believe in Santa; but this film is just laughable. You have all these scientists talking about how they figured out the exact speed Santa will have to travel, that he has the ability to time travel, and that his workshop is powered by the magnetic energy of the Earth that he created. With all this scientific discussion you will lose the younger crowd. Also while 30 minutes is a great length for a film like this if you took out all the quotes they keep playing again and again you will be left with about 13 minutes. Then comes the greatest part of all; the expedition to the arctic in order to find Santa’s workshop. A group treks on foot through the snow and happen to find reindeer. Knowing that they were close the group continues on to find the workshop; but then Santa ATTACKS! A snow storm hits and they all feel it is caused by Santa to keep them from getting closer. One man even has his arm broken. Now I don’t know about you but this is not the Santa I believe in. Overall I was highly disappointed with this film. There is even a message saying that parents are to watch this first as it is not meant for children. I can not imagine who this film is made for then since I am an adult and found it to be a holiday spirit killer more than anything.
