This is a story of a nine year old little boy, by the name of Adrian.  Adrian has many fears just like all little boys his age; however, his fears threaten to become reality as his daily life continues on.  He has a best friend by the name of Clinton and he lives with his Grandmother Beattie and uncle Rory.

RATING: 4.50 (out of 4.00)

His mother and father are not part of his life and he is a lonely little boy.  He has the fear of being abandoned and seeks solace with a new neighbor’s children.  This story brings you through the daily life of Adrian as he tries to find answers as to where the Metford children are and is there really a sea monster?  It is a heartfelt story that keeps you captivated until the end, with different plots and story lines within.  I recommend this book to anyone who likes a light mystery and a good read.  I enjoyed this book and finished it fairly quickly
