The game play is very similar to that of Zelda games. You go around in areas that are opened to you slashing at anything that moves. You talk to people you find, go on missions given to you, and open chests that you come across. The controls are simple. The stories & characters look a little anime like and the visuals are surprisingly good. I ended up playing for longer then I intended the first go at it, I was just sucked in.

But there is also another reason I played longer than planned. Every time you leave one area to go to a new section you get a load screen. Oh I know that this is nothing new all games do it. However with this one the areas are quite small and the load times can last up to a minute. So imagine you are playing you slash 4 furry creatures that try to attack you, talk to 1 person which takes you 2 minutes, then you sit and wait for a minute, new area same thing, wait a minute. Trust me in 30 minutes of time you have set there playing and quite possibly 7-10 minutes were staring at a loading screen you will understand why I mentioned it.

That is not enough for me to write off this game though. This game made me think back and remembering playing Link’s Awakening which I loved. However just because I loved the nostalgic factor this game had, I would still strongly urge you to find it discounted. The replay factor is not that high, the waiting times can ruin it for some, and one of the character’s says “tee-hee” (sorry that just really bothers me).
