This is not your normal ShakefireKids screening.  We are hosting an "After Hours Special Night at the Museum" at the Atlanta History Center!  On Friday, May 15, we invite kids and their families to a special late night party at the museum.  There will be costumed storytellers, snacks, a special showing of the first Night at the Museum and each child will get a goodie bag containing a ticket to the screening of Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian the following week!

EVENT OVERVIEW:
•“After Hours Special Night at the Museum” 6:30pm – 11:00PM.
•We will show the first NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM movie.
•Each child will receive a pass to see Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian at an advance screening on May 21.  Tickets will be in goodie bags.
•There will be costumed interpreters/story tellers to entertain kids.
•Snacks and beverages provided

MOVIE OVERVIEW:
When the Museum of Natural History is closed for upgrades and renovations, the museum pieces are moved into federal storage at the famous Washington Museums. Security guard Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) infiltrates the Smithsonian Institute in order to rescue Jedediah (Owen Wilson) and Octavius (Steve Coogan), who have been shipped to the museum by mistake. The centerpiece of the film will be bringing to life the Smithsonian Institution, which houses the world's largest museum complex with more than 136 million items in its collections, ranging from the plane Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams) flew on her non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic and Al Capone's rap sheet and mug shot to Dorothy's ruby red slippers, Fonzie's jacket from Happy Days and Archie Bunker's lounge chair from All in the Family.

TRAILER:

We have VERY limited tickets to this event and would like to only invite those with kids, preferably only ONE parent to maximize the number of children that get to enjoy this event.  Please state in the COMMENTS section how many children you have.  This is ONLY in Atlanta, so please do not request if you are not in Atlanta.  Please do not request if you do not have a child or children (nieces, nephews, etc are OK too!) that you can bring.
