The story of L, Light, and the Death Note came to a close; but did we see everything there was too see?

It’s obvious I love this series, and I have already reviewed the episodes that are included in this set when they were released on single DVDs.

The story is coming to an end. Near travels to Japan with his task force to take a closer look at the Kira case. Meanwhile Light is busy leading his followers Mikami & Ms.

Mellow has a close encounter with being discovered so he decides to go to the SPK and get his picture back. In exchange for it Mellow tells Near that some of the Death Note rules are not real.

I love this show. It is beautifully animated, the characters are intriguing, and the story is intense and well thought out.

The battle between L and Light is starting to wind down, The Yotsuba Group is no longer an issue, and Light is watching and waiting for the moment to set his plan of a perfect world into motion.

With the killings still happening while Light and Misa are in confinement, L decides that it will take a different tactic to prove who Kira is.
