Just a few hours after releasing her new single "Judas" to iTunes four days early, Lady Gaga has given her fans another treat, unveiling the official "Born This Way" album cover on Twitter. Gaga teased the cover's impending arrival at midnight on and leaked the image at 1 a.m. ET Saturday (Apr. 16). The striking image combines Gaga's body with that of a motorcycle: the pop star's arms take hold of the vehicle's front wheel and Gaga's head sits at the top of the bike, with her red lipstick the black-and-white image's only dash of color. The early arrival of Gaga's "Judas" single, meanwhile, will likely result in a diva battle for No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart next week. Until Friday morning, Rihanna was poised to earn her 10th No. 1 with "S&M," but Gaga has now found herself in the fight to top the chart. Billboard projects that "Judas" would have to sell north of 350,000 -- close to 400,000 -- with less than two and-a-half days of sales in the week, in order to possibly debut at No. 1 on the Hot 100. |
