Each car cost an estimated $250,000 - $300,000 to detail for the film.
Jason Statham has a knack for picking out mindless action movies with plots so ludicrous that you can't possibly think for a moment that there is an ounce of reality in the entire thing...and I love it. Sometimes mindless action is a good thing. You don't always need to be sucked in emotionally into a daunting and dramatic piece in order to enjoy it.
QUALITY:
Not great, unfortunately. I've noticed that most post-apocalyptic type movies have an almost purposeful grittyness.
BONUS FEATURES:
A Digital copy, Featurettes, Commentary.
The digital copy is a huge bonus but the rest of the bonus features are relatively pointless and disappointing. The movie is entertaining enough, not quite as good as some of Statham's previous work but it still gives you what you want out of it. The quality is a bit gritty but it's not really distracting with a movie like this.
