Season Four, Voyage two picks up right where we left off, with Afro Luffy taking on Captain Foxy on Foxy’s ship. That was a really good cliff hanger from the last set in which The Straw Hat crew has lost some of its members to the Foxy Crew, won them back, then stepped in it again. Needless to say we all know the journey doesn’t end here so you know what’s about to go down. Fortunately it’s always about the way in which we arrive at our destination so prepare for some weird tactics from Foxy.
Like some of the One Piece release, you eventually hit a filler set. Season Four, Voyage Two is one of those, but it’s still pretty cool. The crew manage to find a way to out fox Foxy, but Foxy isn’t quite finished dealing the pain to the Straw Hat Crew, though they kind of put him in place to continue his threats. It’s all pretty much no destination stuff but enjoyable.
Later the crew wakes up to find that their memories have been stolen. Everyone but Zoro thinks logically and decides to ban together, but Zoro begins again as a head hunter, eventually coming back to the point where he’s after Luffy again. When the crew investigates and finds the villain that stole their memories, one that only Chopper can understand, their plan to defeat said villain will not only benefit them, but a two located nearby. Finally they move on to their next main story arc. All in all just for fun episodes but fun just the same.
