Mushroomhead - are one of the most unique and adventurous alternative metal bands working today. Known for their stunningly theatrical live show and artsy masks, this innovative band has forged new ground in the rock world and influenced many other bands to push the envelope and bring art into rock. Formed in the early-1990s in Cleveland Ohio, the band’s combination of metal, rock and atmospheric elements has struck a chord with thousands of fans worldwide.

We talk it up with vocally guy Jeffrey Nothing.

Ever been in a battle of the bands?

No we haven't. Mushroomhead took off after our second show, so we were never really in any competitions for anything.

First song you shot a video for?

That would be: Solitaire Unraveling. It was a lot of fun, we shot it with Dean Karr on a big budget.

Can you roll your tongue?

No I can't. Can't click my fingers either.

Last time you went through a drive-through?

Few days ago, eating that horrible for you: McEnema.

Strangest thing in the room you are in right now

I guess that would be my Foosball table. No dining room or kitchen table here. Mini- Soccer wins out.

Signature drink:

Jagermeister. I have my own machine.

Are you a sore loser?

As a kid yes, I have matured, no more flying Sorry games here.

Song that defines your teen years?

“Carry On My Wayward Son" by Kansas sounds good. I had big dreams and no idea where they would take me.

Any big tour plans coming?

We leave for a one off show in Moscow in 3 and a half hours and Rockstar Mayhem Festival starts in July. Things are looking up!

Do you have any old music sitting around that hasn't seen the light of day yet?

We have a couple songs that weren't included on "Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children" and "Savior Sorrow" and even "XIII" for that matter. There are some songs in those demos that I for one would love to finish.
