Genre:
On DVD:

Grade:
B-
Running Time:
1 Hour 30 Minutes

This wannabe Dodgeball never quite hits the mark despite it’s few comical moments.  The majority of the movie is a joke of a joke and never fleshes out to what it could have given a proper cast, writers and director.

QUALITY:
Crisp and fully high definitionm Balls of Fury is the first combo disc I have seen that didn’t have a decrease in technology because of the combo-format.  The picture is clear and the sound is lossless, even if there isn’t really any point in the film where lossless sound is needed.

BONUS FEATURES:
High definition deleted scenes (impressive in quality, not content), a high definition alternate ending, high definition making-of featurette and another non-HD featurette round-out an impressive array of bonus features that are almost all presented in 1080i.  Although all high-def bonus features have been seen strongly on Blu-Ray, this is the first time I have seen it so heavily on the HD-DVD format.
