Dex Romweber Duo is a 2-piece band from Chapel Hill, NC. The band consists of John Michael Dexter Romweber and his older sister Sara Romweber. John also was a part of another two-piece band, Flat Duo Jets.

I’m not really sure how to describe the album “Images 13”. A couple of the songs on the album sounded like a random band I would hear at a dive bar but others had a kind of beach type sound. If I were to hear them at a bar it wouldn’t make me turn away but it wouldn’t make me go out to see them.

One thing I can say is that the album has a classic rock kind of feel. One song reminded me of the band Iron Butterfly while another reminded me of the beach boys. Like I said its kind of hard to describe the album as a whole. John and his sister are defiantly versatile in their music abilities but if you don’t like the style of music your not going to like this album.
