Leslie Jones made her triumphant return to social media after her website was taken down due to hackers. As previously reported, Jones’ website was overrun by hackers, who not only posted personal information about the Ghostbusters actress, but also put nude photos up. Her team immediately took the website down. This occurred after Jones had been the victim of vicious cyberbullying on Twitter. On Sunday, Sep. 5, she went on Twitter to show her gratefulness to her fans for their support. “Thanks to my fans and friends! I’m soooooo ok really. And I will always be funny been through a lot in my life and I ALWAYS GET BACK UP!”
Jones received plenty of support from fans and celebrities during the bullying she endured on Twitter. She returned to Twitter following what happened and proved she is strong no matter what.
