Rihanna covers March issue of Vogue, talks fashion and personal style

'Huawei': A foreshadowing name?

Chinesepod's Carlie discusses the meaning of the name 'Huawei' in light of the recent national security concerns of the Whitehouse

Rihanna appears on the cover of Vogue for its March issue and opened up about fashion and fame. She wore natural makeup and sported her pixie cut, appearing a lot less toned down than usual. Many look up to the “Stay” singer for fashion inspiration, so she dished some of her fashion tips. One of her rules, she explained to Vogue, is "If I'm wearing a top, I don't wear a bra. If I'm wearing a bra, I just wear a bra." She also explained growing up, she was a tom boy who wanted to dress exactly like her brother. After a while, her mom gave up and let them dress alike. "I love baggy things. I wear men's clothes, men's shoes, oxfords, creepers,” she said, saying that style has crossed over to her adult life, E! Online reports. Rihanna also touched on the subject of fame, saying she will likely never get used to it. "I never wanted to be famous," she said. "I just wanted my music to be heard all over the world. Then it happened and the fame came with it. I can't ever imagine feeling used to it." image: Vogue
