I haven't written a blog in a while so I figured it was perfect time to shift focus and get a little techy. First, I am going to go ahead and call the "iPhone App of the Month". It's actually so cool that I would call it iPhone App of the Year but it's only January and I don't want to shoot myself in the foot.
The App is called "Voice Band" and it's created by Wave Machine Labs. The point of the whole thing is to be able to create an entire song with just your voice. You can create the song in tracks, guitar, bass, drums, voice and then smash it all together. You create the different parts using simply your voice (bah bah bahs, nah nah nahs, whatever you prefer). It doesn't seem to really need a whole lot of talent so all your tone deaf people (like myself) can still have fun with the instrumentals. The voice part doesn't do tone-correction (perhaps a future version will or they will team up with T-Pain's App) so you may struggle with that part but the rest is done so well that you may not even notice. The app is priced at a very affordable $2.99.
