What is SWEEPFIRE?
Sweepfire is an awareness event that Shakefire.com holds twice per year.  The purpose is not to raise money for charity as no money directly changes hands with Shakefire and the charitable organizations.  The directive of Sweepfire is just as important: drawing attention to important causes.  Every event, we select a few charitable organizations to direct traffic and donation toward.  
 
What are the organizations?
For Sweepfire 14, Shakefire.com has chosen the American Red Cross for the fourth time in our thirteen events.  The American Red Cross exists to provide compassionate care to those in need.  Their network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world.
 
For the first time, we are also drawing attention toward Healthy Child Health World.  Every day, thousands of parents turn to Healthy Child for practical, credible advice for creating healthier homes. And once those parents are confidently on their journey, we arm them with tools and inspiration to educate others. It’s a domino effect building one of the most important movements in history..

How does this work?
