We all know that super hero movie-based video games are either hit or miss, but the Spider-Man series has a pretty good track record. Given the triumph of the first two games, it’s a surprise that the latest incarnation is jerky and inconsistent, although there are a few shining moments.  As with Spider-Man 2, the web swinging is right on the money making it one of the strongest aspects of the game. It’s easy to get the hang of it, especially if you played a lot of Spider-Man 2, and it’s the most “fun” when it’s combined with the free exploration of New York City. It also helps that the city looks incredible!
