DirecTV to bring back ABC's cancelled WONDERLAND

DirecTV is planning on bringing back the cancelled WONDERLAND, which originally aired only 2 episodes on the ABC television network way back in 2000.  They will also air 6 unaired episodes.  No word yet on whether or not they will attempt to start shooting again.  Wonderland is about doctors dealing with the high-pressure environment of the mental hospital, Rivervue.  Also no word on when they plan the airings, but they will air on the 101 Network.

The show's regulars include Ted Levine (currently starring in USA's MONK) and Michelle Forbes (True Blood, In Treatment, Prison Break).

DirecTV previously brought FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS back from near extinction after failed ratings nearly cancelled the football drama in 2008.
