'Justice League' Official Logo and Synopsis Revealed

Warner Bros. has revealed the official logo and synopsis for the upcoming Justice League. Filming is currently underway in London and select members of the press had the opportunity to visit the set so expect details about the film in the coming days/weeks. For now, here's what Warner Bros. is telling us about Justice League's story:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

The "greater enemy" the synopsis speaks of has been confirmed to be Steppenwolf, the film's main villain and character briefly seen in a deleted scene for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, although the role has not been officially cast yet as Warner Bros. is still in final negotiations with the actor set to play him. Warner Bros. has also released an image of the updated Batmobile.

Zack Snyder is returning to direct Justice League staring Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), and Ray Fisher (Cyborg). In addition, the film will star J. K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Amber Heard as Mera, and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko.

Justice League is scheduled to be released on November 17, 2017.
