Interesting Tidbits

During the filming of "Crazy, Stupid, Love," the producers were giving away an Ipad 2 on set to anyone that can come up a the name for the movie.

“Crazy, Stupid, Love” is about Cal (Steve Carell), who has just found out that his wife had an affair and wants to divorce him. Cal tries to live the single life and find love again, but he fails miserably. He then meets the suave womanizer named Jacob (Ryan Gosling), who coaches Cal on the art of wooing ladies. However, Jacob has fallen in love with Hannah (Emma Stone) and his actions cause a rift in all the characters’ lives.

My first impression of this movie, after watching the trailer, was that it was going to be a total “chick flick.” However, I was completely surprised because the movie far exceeded my expectations. The movie had a great story, clever comedy, and the plot twist caught me by surprise. The characters were likeable and memorable and the all-star cast did an excellent job of making this a great movie. The picture quality was very crisp and the sound clarity was unlike anything I have ever heard. This is the perfect date movie and will appeal to both sexes.

My only gripe was the lack of extras. They did include deleted scenes, instant streaming for your portable devices, and a featurette. They were okay, but I loved the movie so much I wanted to know more about it and see more of how the movie came about. I would still watch this movie again and I highly recommended it to my own family and friends. For those reasons, I am giving this movie an “A.”
