Give me an F! Give me a U! What does that spell? FU!

FU indeed. Honestly, throughout the whole movie, my face was twisted between a configuration of bewilderment and surprise. Fired Up follows your two high school jock who play sports and get the girls. Shawn and Nick go on the ultimate girl search by joining cheerleading and going to camp with them. What starts out as a ploy to get the ladies, eventually turns into something more as they become part of a team and actually start to fall in love with cheerleading.

This film is pretty much your average teen cheerleader movie. It has all the usual elements. Hot girls. Check. Gay guys. Check. Love story. Check. I actually don't think there was much original content in this one. There's really nothing new here and the entire film is highly predictable. Fired Up is one step above the Bring It On series, heck, they even have a whole scene quoting it.

Nicholas D'Agosto (who you may remember as West from Heroes) and Eric Christian Olsen are your two ladies men. They're the kinda guys you wonder how they ever get all those girls. At times there are some funny moments but generally, it's more of a "what the heck is going on" type moment. Things do move pretty rapidly in the film.

You will spend a good amount of time laughing watching Fired Up. I don't know if it's because the film's actually funny or you're just laughing out of the sheer stupidity of it. That'll be up for you to decide. All I can say for sure is that I don't want to hear another cheer for a very long time.
