OFFBEAT

Main titles are not used in the first episode. House (Hugh Laurie) and Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard), are the only regulars to appear in the episode.

House opened season 6 in a very dramatic way.  As it aired, I said that if the episode didn't win an Emmy, I would be shocked and I stick to that.  The episode almost felt like a spinoff tester as it only featured Hugh Laurie and no other regular cast members except for, briefly, Robert Sean Leonard.  The rest of the season panned out well from there...

QUALITY:
Great.  It is in 1080p so it is in a better clarity than you would have seen even on Fox HD as that runs 1080i at best.

BONUS FEATURES:

Featurette on the Hugh Laurie directed episode, commentaries, others featurettes and an unscripted short titled "Before Broken".

The short is amusing, mainly because it is unscripted.  The other bonus features are relatively pointless and boring but the main focus here is the amazing sound and picture quality of the set along with the great season.  It had it's few off episodes but, for the most part, House is at it's strongest here.  Let's hope it holds that momentum, though the way the finale leaves you, they are stepping on dangerous ground.
