With track titles like “Lover’s Point,” “Made for Love,” and “Ryan Gosling,” it’s easy to decipher the tone of Late Cambrian’s latest album, Peach. This isn’t some sappy lovey-dovey album, though. Band members John Wlaysewski, Nunzio Moudatsos, and O bring an upbeat tempo to the album that celebrates the joys of love rather than the melodramatic angst oftentimes associated with the emotion.

Peach contains 13 laid back tracks that are great for easy listening. The music is lively and doesn’t overshadow the lyrics, and the tracks are varied enough so that you don’t get bored by the time the end comes around. It’s an album that works well streaming the whole thing in a single sitting or in bits and pieces throughout the day.

Late Cambrian is still relatively new to the music scene but they’ve already made a decent impression. Peach is just another step in the right direction for the band.
