LOST began its high-def adventure with the release of Season 3 on Blu-ray in 2007. Now, two years later, we can finally watch how the mystery all began. With seamless menus and the ability to continue from any point in the season with SeasonPlay, the first season of Lost on Blu-ray is the ultimate experience.

The show looks spectacular; just as much as the current seasons do. The island location is perfect to showcase the beauty in HD. There are occasional moments where the scene slows for a few seconds. This is most likely due to the disc being read by the player. The sound is spectacular. Listening to that initial plane crash coupled with the visuals is like being there on the beach, running for your life.

The LOST Flashbacks, Welcome to Oahu: The Making of the Pilot, The Genesis of LOST, Designing A Disaster, Commentaries, Before They Were LOST, Deleted Scenes, Bloopers, and tons of other little featurettes.

There are a ton of bonus features that showcase all the work and details that went into the first season of LOST. You'll see how the show came to be, audition tapes, and commentary from everyone involved. They are split up into three different categories, all of which run over an hour in length. You’ll spend almost as much time watching the bonus features as watching the show itself. Okay, not really, but you get the idea. If you don't own the first season, then now would be the perfect time to buy.
