Stardust is a fun and entertaining mess of a movie.  The story never quite comes to fruition and rings as if it were past between a few director’s during the course of filming, causing something to be missing that I can’t quite put my finger on.  Despite that, there were plenty of hilarious moments throughout the movie thanks largely in part to Robert DeNiro’s off-typecast role and the “dead princes” that offer hefty supporting roles.

The movie is beautiful, with moments of clarity so beautiful and so breathtaking that you will engross yourself in the scenery and the magic.  At certain points throughout the movie, you can tell the colors were exaggerated either by costuming or post-production, adding even more to the fairy tale presented.  The sound is a bit low in the transfer, but nothing that turning your volume up a few extra notches won’t take care of.

Making-Of, trailer and deleted scenes almost all presented in HD save (disappointingly) for the deleted scenes.  The blooper reel claims to be presented in HD but is, in fact low quality.  Nonetheless, they aren’t filled with just funny faces and inside jokes as I actually found myself laughing pretty heavily throughout.
