Carter Chambers lies in a hospital bed waiting to hear how long he has left and this is how he meets Edward Cole.  The two could not be more different (Carter Chambers has had to work hard his whole life to make ends meet and Edward Cole is a billionaire); but despite of their differences they have one big thing in common they are both given a short amount of time to live. Carter remembers a project he had in college and begins writing out a “Bucket List”, a list of all the things he wants to do before he dies. Edward catches a glimpse of it and decides to take it from paper and make it a reality. Together they head off to see the world.

This seems to be a love or hate movie very easily. On one hand you can sit back and enjoy the minimal plot and take joy out of seeing 2 worthy actors just having fun. Or on the other hand it just might be too sappy, touchy feely for your taste hitting only the key notes instead of fleshing out a story. Now that last sentence makes it sound like I hated the movie, well I didn’t but I can see how it can go either way. Personally I think that it is because they created a movie for a very small demographic, ultimately you will have to first enjoy the life discovery touching kind of film and next you will not want it to be that deep either. See it sort of narrows it down.

Now if you did like the movie or it does sound like something you like unfortunately there isn’t much in terms of bonus features. You are only given “Writing A Bucket List” which is a making of and John Mayer’s “Say” video.
