The Naked Brothers Band: Battle of the Bands focuses on real life brothers Nat and Alex Wolff through a documentary style filming about their lives and their band, The Naked Brothers Band (no worries parents there is no real nudity involved). The show deals with the travesties of growing up as kids and rock stars. Love, jealousy, loss, and family are just some of the issues the show attempts to cover in a family friendly way.

Its hard to know how to feel about this show. The boys do play their own instruments and write their own songs, at least that's what your led to believe, and after seeing an actual performance by the two boys on the bonus features its hard to argue that fact. The kids loved the show. It was just silly fun with music and the show stayed at a level that is comprehensive for kids without ruining the feel by trying to capture an adult audience as well. I respect that.

Bonus features included:

Music video's (sort of) that are basically just clips taken from the episodes on the disc.

Nat and Alex Rock Out and Speak Out:

This segment of the bonus features includes interviews with Nat and Alex as well as some of the other cast plus raw performances of the kids doing their songs with nothing more then a keyboard and Alex slapping his hands on the table as percussion.

Cooper: The man Behind the Glasses:

An interview with Cooper Pillot, who stars as the bands manager on the show. Funny kid and I predict we will probably see more of him in the future.

Fun Facts:

Nat and Alex's parents are both stars in their own right. Polly Draper, their mother, starred on the hit show Thirty Something as Ellyn Warren from 1987 to 1991. Their father Michael Wolff is the former band leader and music director for The Arsenio Hall Show from 1989 to 1994.
