“Touchback” starring Brian Presley and Kurt Russell is what I would call a perfect movie.

This movie starts out back in 1992, where QB and state recognized football player, Scott Murphy (Brian Presley) has a chance to beat 5-time state champs.  During the state game that will determine Scott’s future, he is injured and his entire football career comes to a screeching halt.

Fast forward 15 years after the injury, Scott finds himself the husband of humble Macy (played by Melanie Lynskey), the father of two young girls, the owner of Macy’s family farm and a volunteer firefighter for his old football coach, Coach Hand (played by Kurt Russell).

That’s about all I’d like to tell you because I don’t want to give ALL of the movie away.  I sometimes get carried away with my story telling.  I’d much rather you take the time to watch this movie yourself.  In general, it’s about love, family, regret and would you live your life over if you could?  The decisions and choices you’d make the second go ‘round, would you make the same ones?  This movie is a great movie to gather the family together and watch how Scott Murphy’s life unfolds on the screen.  You’ll be surprised the outcome.
