Toy Story of Terror! is an animated Halloween special that aired on ABC last year and brings back Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the toys for a terror-filled road trip straight out of a B-horror film. I reviewed the episode when it came out last year and after another viewing I can say that the episode is still as fantastic as it was almost a year ago.

Included with the Blu-ray are the three other shorts that comprise Pixar's Toy Story Toons; Hawaiian Vacation, Small Fry, and Partysaurus Rex. Fans may recognize these as the shorts that played before theater showings of Cars 2The Muppets, and Finding Nemo 3D. While not as long as Toy Story of Terror! they're treated with the same artisanship and quality of any of the feature length films Pixar has done.

There are also a few other bonus features such as the "Team of Specialists" featurette that goes behind the scenes at the making of the special. It's a great look that goes into tremendous detail on how everything was put together, from the script to the animations and sound. The only thing I wish it would have covered was the voice recordings with the actors. Other than that, it's a short and sweet little documentary. Also on the Blu-ray are deleted scenes, some vintage toy commericals, and audio commentary.

Overall, the Toy Story of Terror! Blu-ray isn't all the bad. The quality is superb and there's a decent amount of bonus features. It's a little expensive as you're mainly paying for a 20-minute special, but still totally worth it for Toy Story fans.
