LUCKY CHARM

As per Pixar tradition, John Ratzenberger once again provides a voice in the movie, making him the only actor to do a voice in every Pixar film.

Up is surprisingly uplifting for a movie that starts off with the hard truth of growing old, death and the feeling of an incomplete life.

QUALITY:
Outstanding.  The clarity of the picture is nothing short of perfect, allowing you to see the painstakingly beautiful CGI rendering throughout.

BONUS FEATURES:
Where do I start?  This thing is 4-discs long.  Disc 1 is the blu-ray feature, disc 2 is the blu-ray bonus disc, disc 3 is a standard presentation of the DVD and disc 4 is a digital copy.

Bonus features include the 5-6 minute short shown in theaters "Partly Cloudy" as well as a new 4-5 minute short, "Dug's Special Mission".  "Partly Cloudy" is the more entertaining of the two but both are worth the few minutes of your time.  There are a TON of documentaries, featurettes and alternate scenes that are sure to keep you busy for hours.

The movie is incredibly moving, well voiced and well crafted.  Although it is getting harder and harder to pick out favorites among Pixar's ever growing catalog of hits, this one would probably rank somewhere in the top 5, if only barely.
