Title: Bleading Lady Genre: Horror Starring: Dan Ellis, Sindy Faraguna, Nathan Durec Director: Ryan Nicholson Studio: Breaking Glass Pictures Runtime: 75 minutes Release Date: March 29, 2011 Format: DVD MPAA Rating: Rating: ( )Grade: F I've seen some pretty bad films in my time here but Bleading Lady is right up there with the worst of the worst. The film is about a teamster van driver named Don whose job involves taking actors back and forth between sets. It's not as glamorous as it sounds. One day, Don decides that he has had enough of the snot-nosed brats and goes on a killing rampage. Caught in the middle is his favorite scream queen, Riversa Red who finds herself in a real life horror film. Bleading Lady is about as low budget of a film as you can get. At first I wondered if I was watching a student film but no, no students were involved in the making of this production. The acting is something you would likely find in a porno; plainly put, it's abysmal. It's almost as if the entire film is just one big joke. The same can be said about the special effects. I know it's low budget but come on, you have to be able to put on somewhat of a convincing show. Probably the worse thing about Bleading Lady is that the film revolves around a horror film set and frankly, you can't tell the difference between the film they're shooting and the one you're watching. They're both so equally bad they blend together into one monster of a film. Having to sit through all 75 minutes of it is the scariest part of all. You'll most likely never come across Bleading Lady except in the bargain bin at your local Wal-Mart. Even at that cheap price, I couldn't recommend this film. |
