Got the name in the title only.

Conan O'Brien is listed on the DVD case and is one of the characters on Pale Force but he does not do the voice of his own character, that is done by Jim Gaffagin.

Pale Force follows the adventures of the muscle-bound Pale Man, voiced by comedian Jim Gaffigan and his scrawny sidekick Conan O’Brien (also voiced by Gaffigan)- a crime-fighting duo with the superpower of paleness. Whether thwarting their archnemesis Lady Bronze or uncovering who is behind the scandalous tanning of Miss Pale America winners, Pale Man and occasionally even the wimpy Conan- always saves the day, shooting lasers from his nipples and blinding criminals with his pallor.
So that’s what it says on the back of the DVD case. With that basic outline of the show and a little looking on the internet for some info, I sat down to watch Pale Force. Before this time I had no clue that this was even out there but that’s because these aired on the show Late Night with Conan O’Brien and I don’t watch the show. This cartoon is a lot of short skits that is about these 2 guys going around solving these so called problems being. What it really is, is a somewhat stiff artwork cartoon that makes no sense what so ever.
With a little over an hour of total time for all the skits I just wanted it to be over with. At the moment I can’t remember a moment in that whole time of watching it that I found it funny. The jokes in the skits are dry, boring, and repetitive. After around the fifth skit of the show the jokes were staying the same and it had becoming boring. It’s almost like a knock knock joke, it can make a chuckle come out the first time but after hearing the same thing over and over again then that chuckle is lost really fast.
Along with the repetitiveness of the jokes there’s also the way the characters are portrayed. I know this is just a joke that Jim Gaffigan is doing on himself and on Conan O’Brien but it became old and just wasn’t funny to me. Because I don’t watch Late Night with Conan O’Brien I couldn’t really connect with Pale Force or the jokes that it was doing. I know that Conan O’Brien and Jim Gaffigan are nothing like the characters of Pale Force but seeing Conan O’Brien as a whimpering, scared, whiney, weak adult that pisses himself at any sign of trouble wasn’t funny to me at all. Neither was the fact that the character Pale Man was going around as this tunnel visioned hero that only wants to take the credit for doing nothing while getting all the women. Maybe as a fan of Late Night with Conan O’Brien someone can or will find Pale Force to be funny but for me it was boring, crude at times, and really no fun to watch.
