Black Panther (Atlanta Red Carpet Premiere)

On February 5, 2018 Georgia hosted the premiere of Black Panther at the Fox Theatre in downtown Atlanta, and Shakefire's Maria Jackson was on hand to capture the evening's festivities. Black Panther is the latest film released by Marvel Studios to be filmed in Georgia following Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, as well as the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War films and Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Screened for the cast and crew, the premiere also saw Marvel Studios VP David Grant, MPAA Chairman & CEO Charles H. Rivkin, GA Attorney General Christopher M. Carr, GA Film Academy Executive Director Jeffrey Stepakoff, and celebrities including Jason Mitchell, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Big Boi, LeToya Luckett, John Amos, Desiree Ross, Theo Ratliff, Kim Fields, and Christopher Morgan in attendance.
