Women in Film & Television Atlanta Now Accepting Submissions for 2015 Film Series

Every year, Women in Film & Telvision Atlanta (WIFTA) hosts a shorts filmcase that highlights the work of talented filmmakers across the Southeast and the rest of the country with an emphasis on women. Applications for the 2015 Film Series is now open, with WIFTA accepting submissions for short films and documentary features in any genre. Winners will be screened as part of the festival at General Assembly in September.

Below are the full rules and regulations:

Short Films:

  • A woman director, producer, writer, lead actress or cinematographer. Films with a heavily-female cast will also be accepted.
  • For films in the short films category, a run time of 20 minutes or less (including opening titles/credits and closing credits)
  • Been completed in 2013 or later

Documentary Features:

  • A woman director, producer, writer, cinematographer, or a female subject.
  • For films in the documentary films category, a run time of 60 - 120 minutes (including opening titles/credits and closing credits
  • Been completed in 2013 or later
