As you would expect, this is a two-disc, 37 track 2nd collection of post-hardcore, angry emo, punk, and metal tracks from the bands who participated in the Taste of Chaos tour.  If you aren’t familiar, these acts included Helmet, Evaline, Gwar, Shadows Fall, Suicide Silence, and Walls of Jericho. This may not be the end-all assortment of angry ever to be put to disc but it holds its own. There’s a pretty wide variety of styles presented and it’s probable that only about 2/3 of them will honestly appeal to you.

ToC #2 has enough content to help noobies find some quality bands and at the same time satisfy the palates of established hardcore fans. Still, you should consider sampling it from one website or another before taking further action. I’m can only assume that all of these tracks are cut-and-pasted from the respective band’s albums since the recording quality is high and there’s no indication of audience feedback. Live or no, it’s fairly good stuff that is worth checking out.
